Nepal Dialogues on Justice – II

NFRJ is joining hands with Nagarik Aawaz, our like-hearted organization, in organizing the Second Edition of Nepal Dialogues on Justice on August 29, 2019. The name of the second edition is called “Nepal’s transition to justice: Charting ways forward”.

This event is being organized keeping in view some recent developments related to peace and justice in the country (such as destroying Buddha’s statues in Tilottama, Rupandehi; damaging Buddhist heritages in Kakrevihar, Surkhet; polarizing discourses around sending leaders to the Hague for punishment; delaying of forming transitional justice bodies; rising violence around Netra Bikram Chand’s politics, to name a few). We believe that if these incidences are not given due attention and if action points are not identified now, it can result in serious consequences for the country’s already sluggish march for peace and justice.

Some experts and advocates of this field will speak on the issue and followed by a consultation with the public presented in the programme.

This is a public programme and anyone interested in the topic are welcome to attend.
