Training on Addressing Gender Violence through Restorative Justice

NFRJ, in collaboration with Hawaii Friends of Restorative Justice (HFRJ) and Nagarik Aawaz, organized a three-day training on “Addressing Gender and Family Violence through Restorative Justice and Transition Circles”  from 29 to 31 May, 2019.  A total of 25 participants from 12 national and international organizations took part in this intensive training on using restorative justice approaches to better understand the specificities of gender violence and devise circles to address the harm for the survivors of such violence.

The training was led by Lorenn Walker from HFRJ and Ram Tiwari from NFRJ.
